Park City's Snow-Load
Gutter Specialists

Gutter systems, heat tape, and Colorgard snow bars engineered for Park City's luxury rooflines — and for the 350–500 inches of snow that land on them every winter.

Summit County

Premier Homes, Punishing Snow Loads

Park City sits at 7,000 feet, and the mountains above town take on 350 to 500 inches of snow in an average winter. That snowpack doesn't behave like valley snow. It stacks deep, it settles heavy, and when it finally releases off a steep roofline it comes down with enough force to tear gutters off fascia, flatten landscaping, and crush whatever is parked below.

The homes here raise the stakes further. Park City's Old Town cottages, Deer Valley estates, and Promontory and Glenwild custom builds feature dramatic multi-plane rooflines, standing-seam metal, deep overhangs, and finish work that costs real money to repair. We don't recommend valley-spec systems up here. Every Park City job should get 6-inch 32 gauge high-flow gutters, oversized downspouts, self-regulating or commercial heat tape, and snow retention sized to the actual snow load at your elevation and pitch.

What We Do

Gutter Services in Park City

Mountain-grade work for Park City's premier homes — built to handle a Wasatch Back winter, and finished to match the house.

Snow Bar Installation

Standard snow stops are engineered for valley snowfall — at 350–500 inches, the Park City snowpack would just crush them. The Colorgard snow bar is a continuous rail that spans the full roof panel and holds the whole load, clamping to the metal seams, so it melts off gradually instead of avalanching. It costs more, but on a Park City roofline it's the right call.

6-inch heavy-duty 32 gauge seamless gutters are a recommended standard on Park City homes — not an upsell. Fabricated on site to fit complex custom rooflines, with oversized downspouts sized for spring melt. Available in 28+ colors to match your trim.

Heat Tape & Ice Dam Prevention

Park City's freeze-thaw cycle builds ice dams fast on north-facing planes and over unheated garages. Self-regulating and commercial heat tape keeps eaves, valleys, and downspouts flowing all winter so meltwater never backs up under the shingles.

Leaf Guard Systems

Pine needles and aspen leaf drop clog mountain gutters faster than anything in the valley — and a plugged gutter in October is a frozen gutter in December. Micro-mesh guards keep the system clear through the shoulder seasons.

Gutter Repair & Cleaning

Snow-slide damage, torn fascia, pulled hangers, and split seams are routine here after a heavy season. We'll tell you honestly whether a repair holds or whether the run needs replacing before next winter.

Soffit, Fascia & Siding

Meticulous roofline work on cedar, timber, and stone-accented mountain homes — repairing the water damage a failed gutter leaves behind, and matching the original finish so the fix doesn't show.
